Three people were knocked down by a mobility vehicle at the Paralympics in the Olympic Park in east London.

A member of the public, a security worker at the site in Stratford and a Games volunteer suffered minor injuries.

Police were called after they were hit in the legs by the vehicle at about 17:30 BST.

The vehicles are used to transport ticketholders with limited mobility around the park.

A volunteer, who did not want to be identified, said: "It went backwards into them."
