London's jobless young to work for benefits in pilot scheme
Londoners who struggle to find work after leaving school may now have to carry out 13 weeks work experience in order to qualify for benefits.
The pilot scheme, which aims to stop young people moving straight from education and on to benefits, is being tested in half of all London boroughs.
Sonja Jessop spoke to London Mayor Boris Johnson, Labour member of the London Assembly John Biggs and Conservative employment minister Chris Grayling.
