Notting Hill Carnival: Revellers enjoy biggest street party

About one million people are thought to have enjoyed Notting Hill Carnival in west London, making it the biggest street festival in Europe.

Commander Christine Jones, from the Metropolitan Police, said the event had been largely peaceful, with 67 arrests on Monday.

Lewis Benn, director of Notting Hill Carnival, said it had been a big success.
