BBC London has discovered hundreds of tickets for Saturday's Olympic events on sale illegally at a major ticket agency in London.
Many were allocated to European countries and should have been returned to the Games organisers if unsold.
It appears they have been unlawfully passed to an unauthorised agent in the capital which is now trying to sell them to the public at a profit.
BBC London's Matthew Morris presented the evidence to Tessa Jowell MP, Shadows Olympics Minister in this exclusive report.
