Games Makers prompt interest in volunteering


The 70,000 Games Makers, dressed in purple and red, are one of the most visible signs of the Olympics but it seems their presence is having a bigger impact on those interested in volunteering their time.

There is a reported rise in the number of people showing an interest in volunteering more widely particularly amongst the unemployed.

BBC London's Anjana Gadgil talks to volunteers medics Randeep Bella and Jenny Keys, Eithne Rynne of Greater London Volunteering and Gareth Owen of Volunteer Centre Westminster.
