London 2012: Motorists braced for Games Lanes
The Olympic Games Lanes are turned on in central London on Wednesday morning allowing the "Olympic Family" to be fast-tracked between venues.
BBC London Transport Correspondent Tom Edwards was given a preview of what it will be like to travel in the Games Lanes - getting across the city in record time.
In this report he spoke to volunteer driver Jeff Thwaites and Transport for London's Garrett Emmerson.
