London 2012: Tests on Olympic Games lanes cause delays
Motorists faced long delays on their journey into London as several lanes were closed for tests of the Olympic Route Network.
Drivers in east London and Essex faced the worst disruption.
Garrett Emmerson, chief operating officer responsible for streets at Transport for London, told BBC London's transport correspondent Tom Edwards that commuters had been warned to avoid central London during the Games period.
