Man charged with Marble Arch murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a man found strangled at Marble Arch in central London.

Mark Morrison, 46, who was originally from Scotland but had been sleeping rough for some time, was found dead in the early hours of 21 June.

His body was discovered next to a bench under one of the landmark's arches.

Ghodratollah Barani, 26, of no fixed abode, will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with his murder.
