London homeless in B&Bs rises by 40%

The number of homeless families being placed in temporary bed and breakfast accommodation by councils in London has increased by more than 40% from last year.

The government recently issued a warning to some London authorities that have placed families in B&Bs for longer than the six-week legal limit.

BBC London's Karl Mercer talked to B&B resident Marwa Attitallah, Westminster North Labour's Karen Buck and Westminster Conservative Councillor Jonathan Glanz.
