Two men deny Tamara Ecclestone blackmail charge

Two men have pleaded not guilty to charges of blackmailing the daughter of billionaire Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone.

Jakir Uddin, 19, from Birmingham and Derek Rose, 32, from Camden Town, north London, are accused of blackmailing Tamara Ecclestone for £200,000.

The defendants have been granted bail on condition they do not contact prosecution witnesses.

The trial at London's Southwark Crown Court will begin next February.

The offence is alleged to have taken place last November.
