London's false fire call-outs cost £37m
False alarms cost the London Fire Brigade £37m last year, with one call out almost every 10 minutes.
Figures obtained by BBC London show firefighters were sent unnecessarily to nearly 56,000 incidents, mainly to hospitals, universities and airports.
