Man dies in double stabbing in Dollis Hill

The stabbing in Dollis Hill happened after Chelsea's Champions League match was screened

A man has died and another suffered serious injuries in a double stabbing in north-west London.

Officers were called to Coles Green Road in Dollis Hill, at about 23:30 BST on Saturday, where they found the two male victims.

The 25-year-old man died at the scene while the second victim, aged 56, remains in hospital in a serious-but-stable condition.

Two 17-year-olds arrested in connection with the murder remain in custody.

A 31-year-old also arrested has been released on police bail.

'Rowdy and nasty'

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound.

The victims were found close to The Ox and Gate pub, where several people had gathered to watch the Champions League final on TV.

An eyewitness who was inside the pub told BBC London that as fans celebrated Chelsea's win things turned "rowdy and nasty", resulting in some damage both inside and outside the pub.

It is believed the victims were father and son and the stabbing took place after trouble started in the pub.
