Met police officer found shot dead at London station
A Metropolitan Police officer has died at a police station after suffering gunshot wounds.
The PC, who served with the Aviation Security Command at London City Airport, was found at North Woolwich police station, east London, on Sunday.
London Ambulance Service attended but the officer, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead just after 14:50 BST.
It is understood the force is not seeking anyone else in connection with the officer's death.
The family of the man have been informed and a report is being prepared for the coroner by officers from the Directorate of Professional Standards.
