Health Minister attacks plans to close his A&E

A government Health Minister has attacked plans that could see the closure of the accident and emergency and maternity wards at St Helier Hospital in Sutton.

Paul Burstow, who is also the Liberal Democrat MP for the area, said the plans "lack reality" and should not go ahead, but the Labour Party labelled his protest as hypocritical.
