London mayoral election: Ken Livingstone grilled

Help

Mayoral candidate Ken Livingstone has been grilled by a panel of BBC London journalists on his bid to be mayor.

Mr Livingstone was asked about his plans for the transport network, and his tax affairs, for which he has come in for criticism.

It is the first in a series of interviews with the major candidates for the 3 May election.

Conservative Boris Johnson, Liberal Democrat Brian Paddick and Green Party candidate Jenny Jones are in the hotseat shortly.
