London 2012: Young urged to fire starting pistol


The man chosen to be the chief starter at the Olympic Games has called for young people to get involved with officiating sporting events.

Alan Bell, who started Usain Bolt's world record 100m race at the Athletics World Championships in 2009, made the comments as he prepared for the weekend's World Indoor Athletics Championships in Istanbul.
