Unions consider £850 Olympic pay offer

Help

Transport bosses have offered thousands of Tube workers an extra £850 each to work during the Olympic Games.

It is hoped the bonus will keep the underground running throughout the event and comes after talks at the conciliation service ACAS.

The offer is yet to be accepted, but it is hoped it will end a long running dispute between the Rail, Maritime and Transport union and London Underground.
