M25 tour proves unlikely success for Brighton coach company
A sightseeing trip around the M25 by a Brighton coach company has proved so popular that extra tour dates have been scheduled.
Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company, which also runs day trips to tourist attractions such as Blenheim Palace and Beaulieu National Motor Museum, included the motorway tour in its 2012 brochure.
A £15 ticket enables people to travel the full 117-mile (188km) route, taking in Heathrow Terminal 5, Epping Forest and the Dartford Crossing.
"It can be perceived to be crackers," spokesman Simon Ashcroft said, "but there'll be some parts of the M25 that they've never seen or travelled on".
