Robot used to see blood vessels at St Mary's Hospital

Surgeons at St Mary's Hospital in London have used robotic technology to allow them to see a picture of a patient's blood vessels on screen.

The hospital said the operation was a "world-first".

Patient Barry Merchant and vascular surgeon Nick Cheshire said the operation had been successful.
