London 2012: Anger over university campus plans near Olympic Park

Residents in Stratford, east London, say a university's plans to redevelop the area will destroy their homes and community.

University College London (UCL) wants to build a second campus and new housing on the Carpenters Estate, in the shadow of the Olympic Park.

The Mayor of Newham Sir Robin Wales says the plans have the potential to transform the lives of local children but residents say they do not want to move.
