Double yellow lines increase in Westminster

Hundreds of metres of single yellow lines are becoming double yellow lines from Monday as parking restrictions in central London tighten up.

Westminster Council is converting one fifth of its markings as it claims it will improve safety for pedestrians.

Critics say it is just another attempt to reduce the amount of free parking in the capital.
