Islington 'chuggers' could face street ban
Charity street fundraisers - or "chuggers" - could be banned from the streets in Islington, north London, following complaints from local residents.
Council leaders said they had received numerous complaints about the fundraisers and said they wanted to encourage people to donate to local organisations instead of national ones.
However, charities said the street fundraisers did a crucial job in raising much-needed funds.
