Environmentalists criticise arts venues over BP deal

Environmentalists have criticised four of London's best known arts institutions for renewing a multi-million pound sponsorship deal with oil giant BP.

The funding proved controversial following the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster last year and sparked direct action by campaigners.

Earlier this month a petition was handed to Tate Britain demanding an end to the £10m deal.
