Mother demands Joe Paraskeva conviction review

Help

The mother of a man from east London jailed for attempting to escape from a mental institution has called for the prime minister to review the case.

Linda Morgan said her son, Joe Paraskeva, could face a lifetime in prison as a result of his conviction.

And his supporters, including Marjorie Wallace from the mental health charity Sane, said he should be in hospital instead.
