Ealing film classic The Ladykillers comes to the stage
Ealing film classic The Ladykillers has been adapted for the stage and will open in London's West End later this week.
The production - featuring The Thick Of It's Peter Capaldi and comedian Ben Miller - pays homage to the 1955 comedy about a group of criminals who rent rooms in the house of an unsuspecting old lady.
It has been adapted by Father Ted and The IT Crowd creator Graham Linehan, who says his version will have "more room to play around with the characters".
