Has 'speed over safety' made Bow roundabout dangerous?

This is an interview I did this morning with Debbie Dorling.
Her husband Brian died on 24 October when he collided with an HGV on the Bow roundabout.
She told me she thinks there is a design fault with the cycling superhighway at that roundabout.
Her 58-year-old husband was an extremely experienced cyclist and worked on the Olympic Park.
Mrs Dorling, from Hounslow, west London, also thinks Transport for London (TfL) is effectively encouraging cyclists to use a route which is extremely dangerous.
She wants sensors on all HGVs and claims TfL has chosen speed instead of safety at that junction.
Kulveer Ranger, the mayor's director of environment, says he is looking at that junction specifically to see if improvements can be made.
