East London teenager charged with terrorism offences

A teenager from east London has been charged with a number of terrorism-related offences.

Mohammed Abdul Hasnath, 19, from Blair Street, Poplar, was charged with several offences under the Terrorism Act.

Mr Hasnath is accused of six counts of possession of information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

He will appear in custody at Marylebone Magistrates' Court on Friday.
