Metropolitan Police dog's head slammed in door: Man charged
A man has been charged with causing suffering to a police dog after a door was slammed on its head.
The German shepherd called Zinzan suffered severe blows while trying to get into a house in Edgware, north London, during a chase.
Lukasz Sklepkowski, 28, of no fixed address, has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering under the Animal Welfare Act.
He was due to appear at Brent Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
