Multilingual Shakespeare at 2012 Globe Theatre festival

Help

All of Shakespeare's plays will be performed at London's Globe Theatre as part of 2012's Cultural Olympiad - with each play in a different language.

The theatre's artistic director Dominic Dromgoole described Globe to Globe as both "bizarre and exciting".

The season is part of the World Shakespeare Festival (WSF) and features thousands of global performers in 70 shows as well as a British Museum exhibition.

It includes Hamlet in Lithuanian, Julius Caesar in Italian and a Turkish version of Antony and Cleopatra.
