HS2 'threatens outdoor activity centre'

The creation of a high-speed rail link between London and the Midlands would mean the closure of an outdoor activity centre in Hillingdon, west London, used by more than 20,000 children a year, campaigners have claimed.

The Department for Transport said High Speed 2 (HS2) would create thousands of jobs and help to regenerate the economy.
