Man charged over Jonathan Barnes shooting in Croydon

A man has been charged with the murder of a man shot in the head in south London last month.

Jonathan Barnes, 20, from Lewisham, was found with a bullet wound at an address in Croydon on 23 August and died in hospital early the next morning.

Daniel Tesfay, 25, of no fixed address, has been charged with Mr Barnes's murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Police said he was due to appear before Croydon Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
