Notting Hill Carnival: Teenager charged over stabbing

A teenager has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a man at the Notting Hill Carnival.

The 16-year-old appeared at West London Youth Court charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

The 20-year-old victim was found suffering stab wounds to the abdomen in Ladbroke Grove, west London, as the carnival was finishing on 29 August.

Four men also held over the assault have been released on police bail.

The 16-year-old has been remanded in custody to reappear at West London Youth Court on 28 September.
