Flatshares 'up 100,000' in a year

The number of people sharing flats in the UK has risen by more than 100,000 in the past year because of soaring rents, research by a property website has suggested.

About 650,000 residents in London are now living as flatmates or lodgers, the Easyroommate website has said.

One young woman who has recently moved from Cornwall to London has been explaining the problems she encountered when trying to find somewhere to stay.
