Neighbours in Raynes Park baffled by grass sign

Help

A council has admitted that a Keep off the Grass sign located on a tiny verge in south-west London "doesn't make any sense" and is "out of date".

The notice is in front of a house on Elm Row, Raynes Park, on a patch of grass which is less than a square metre (10.8 sq ft) in size.

It was installed to stop drivers parking on the pavement around the grass, Merton Council said.

Neighbours have said they were baffled by the sign.
