Three teenagers guilty of Nicholas Pearton manslaughter

Three teenagers have been found guilty of the manslaughter of a schoolboy who was attacked in south-east London.

Nicholas Pearton, 16, was beaten and stabbed in Home Park Recreation Ground in Sydenham on 5 May.

Terrell Clement, 18, from south east London, a 17-year-old from south London and a 17-year-old from Kent were convicted at the Old Bailey.

Sheldon Gordon, 22, of Windrush Lane, Forest Hill, was found guilty of perverting the course of justice.

Three other youths were convicted of his murder in a separate trial earlier this year.

A date for sentencing has not yet been set.
