Construction of the London 2012 ArcelorMittal Orbit
New time lapse footage shows the intricate construction of the ArcelorMittal Orbit on the Olympic Park.
Situated between the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre, it will give visitors a view of the entire Olympic Park.
Visitors will be able to take a trip up the 376ft (114.5m) structure in a lift and will have the option of walking down the spiralling staircase.
It was designed by award-winning artist Anish Kapoor and is expected to be completed by March 2012.
