Aardman collaborates with UK children on new animation

Help

Aardman Studios and the Tate have drawn on the creative input of thousands of children across the UK for a new animated feature.

The film, The Itch of the Golden Nit, features the voices of David Walliams, Miranda Hart and Catherine Tate.

Among the child collaborators is nine-year-old Londoner Sliman Al-Jamali, who came up with one of the film's 13 main characters.

His character Fireboy is voiced by actor Ralf Little, who visited him at home in Borough.
