Jewish man recalls Olympics ban

A German man who had to be smuggled into the 1936 Berlin Olympics because he is Jewish has said he hopes to attend the 2012 Games in London officially.

Ludwig Meyer, who is now 100, said he was barred from the Berlin Games but managed to persuade someone to let him in.

He has now applied for tickets for next year's event.
