Building London 2012's Aquatic Centre

For the past 32 months a camera overlooking the London 2012 site has been capturing the construction of the Olympic Aquatics Centre.

It will have a 50m competition pool, a 25m competition diving pool, a 50m warm-up pool and a 'dry' warm-up area for divers. Water Polo will be held next to it in a temporary 5,000-seater venue.

Building work began in 2008 and construction is due to be completed in 2011.

Watch the rise of the 17,500 capacity building with its unique wave-like roof in under 30 seconds.
