Vivienne Westwood bags stolen in London raid
About 30 Vivienne Westwood handbags, worth up to £800 each, have been stolen in a smash-and-grab raid in London.
Four men on two mopeds crashed through the door of the Vivienne Westwood store in Conduit Street, close to Regent Street, on Wednesday. Two of the men then grabbed the bags.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the theft, which happened at 2350 BST.
The first of the "Vespa style" mopeds was black with distinctive red wheels. The second was silver, police said.
