Man, 52, charged with murdering Pat Irwin in Enfield

A 52-year-old has been charged with murdering a man stabbed in the neck outside a north London pub.

Pat Irwin, 41, from Enfield, died near the Toby Carvery pub in the area on Friday night.

John Moore, 52, of Glyn Road, Enfield, will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Monday charged with murder.

A 50-year-old woman arrested in connection with the investigation has been bailed to return on 31 August.

No further action is to be taken against a 21-year-old man who was also arrested.
