Cyclist found dead in roadside ditch near Gedney golf club

Fields close to Gedney Hill Golf Club Police said the last positive sighting of the man was at about 10:00 BST on Monday

A cyclist has been found dead in a ditch containing water near a golf club in Lincolnshire.

Police found the man's body on Monday evening close to Gedney Hill Golf Club, in the Spalding area.

Officers said the man was last seen at 10:00 BST on Monday. His death is being treated as unexplained.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later. The force appealed for anyone who may have seen the man prior to his death to contact them.
