Lincoln stabbing suspect released without charge

Lincoln stabbing A 37-year-old man is in a stable condition after being found with what police think are knife wounds in High Street, Lincoln

A woman arrested after a man was found collapsed with stab wounds in Lincoln city centre has been released without charge.

A 37-year-old man was taken to Lincoln County Hospital at about 01:00 BST with wounds to his abdomen.

The woman, 35, was later arrested over the incident before being released.

The High Street was closed between Tentercroft Street and St Mary's Street. The man, who has not been named, has been released from hospital.

Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
