Traffic warning over transporting new Boston bridge
Motorists are being warned to expect delays as a new bridge is transported to Lincolnshire from Nottinghamshire.
The slow moving vehicles will be coming along the A17 at Newark at about 07:00 GMT on Sunday and will join the A16 northbound in Boston later.
When the bridge reaches Boston the vehicles will then travel down Liquorpond Street, Queen Street, West Street and Lawrence Lane.
Motorists should allow extra time for their journey or use another route.
The £600,000 bridge will replace the current St Botolph's Bridge at the River Haven which engineers said had structural problems.
Planners said the new bridge would be 35m (115ft) long with a 15m (49ft) ramp to aid wheelchair and pushchair access and is expected to be open for use by the end of February.
