A major road in and out of Lincoln has been closed because of a gas leak for the second time in recent days.

A nine-mile stretch of the A158 Wragby Road - from Bunkers Hill roundabout and Wragby - remains shut while emergency services work to fix the problem.

Police have put a diversion in place and expect the route to be closed for most of Sunday.

On Friday a similar issue closed the same stretch of road for most of the day. No homes had to be evacuated.

The road is a the main route to and from Skegness and Horncastle.
