A man has denied the murders of a man and woman in the Lincolnshire town of Boston.

Mehmet Ali Ozen, 41, of Red Lion Street, Boston, is accused of murdering Charlotte Piccaver and Darren Harwood, both aged 26, in April.

Mr Ozen, a Turkish-born British national, also pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of 24-year-old Keyleigh Wright on the same date.

He will go on trial at Lincoln Crown Court in December.

The charges relate to an incident at a house in Red Lion Street at about 05:00 BST on 21 April.

Charlotte Piccaver was pronounced dead at the scene and Darren Harwood died later in the Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. They both suffered stab wounds.

Keyleigh Wright was taken to the same hospital where she was treated for less serious injuries.
