Man dies in arcade wall car crash in Mablethorpe

Spanish City Local diversions have been set up while police examine the scene

A man died when he crashed his car into a wall near a seaside arcade in Lincolnshire.

The 22-year-old, from the Chesterfield area, was driving a VW Polo on Gibraltar Road, Mablethorpe, when it left the road and hit a wall at about 04:30 BST.

The man, who was in the car on his own, was pronounced dead at the scene. No-one else was injured.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.
