Two men have been charged after a smash-and-grab raid at a jewellers in Lincolnshire.

Robbers wearing crash helmets entered Eastgate Jewellers in Louth on Monday and broke into display cabinets, police said.

Two men aged 29 and 25, both from Grimsby, have been charged with aggravated burglary, attempted robbery and receiving stolen goods.

They are due to appear before Boston magistrates later.

A 32-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on police bail.
