Lincoln bedsit death treated as murder

Police are now treating the previously unexplained death of a man found in a Lincoln bedsit as murder.

The 33-year-old was found at a property in Portland Street on 16 June. Officers said further post-mortem analysis revealed he died from a head injury.

The force said it believed it was an isolated incident and has asked anyone with information to contact them.

A "significant" police presence will be making inquires in the area over the next few days.
