Man's body found in River Witham, Boston

The body of a man has been recovered from a Lincolnshire river, police have confirmed.

Officers said they were alerted by harbour staff after a body was spotted beyond the dock area of the River Witham in Boston on Monday.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said the body of a white male was pulled from the water on Monday evening.

The death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Wednesday.
